We use several different remote support tools produced by different companies. There are times when a particular tool will not connect due to a server issue beyond our control, so we keep several on our support page to choose from. Normally, we will ask you to click on one of the above links and save the file to your computer. Once downloaded, we will ask you to run the file to allow us to connect remotely. You will have to give us the information from your remote support tool, which is usually an ID number and/or password. The ones we use the most can be run in portable mode without having to actually install the program onto your computer. If unattended access is needed or desired, we can then also install them directly to your system with your approval.
The greatest thing about remote support is that we can remote into your system from almost anywhere. As long as you have a good connection to the internet we can usually connect to you successfully. Most of the time we will be at our computer shop when doing remote support work. However, there has been more than one occasion where we have done remote support work from another location, home, or even when on vacation. We take our customer support seriously and will make every effort to correct problems in a timely manner. Remote support is one way we are able to resolve issues quickly and efficiently.
